About Dev Index Core
A Bangkok-based practice dedicated to financial audit of treasury management applications for corporate finance teams across Thailand.
Why we exist
Treasury applications sit between banks, ledgers, and the people who move cash each day. When controls inside those applications drift from policy, the first signal is often a failed reconciliation, a surprise overdraft, or an awkward question from an external auditor. Dev Index Core was formed to give finance leaders in Thailand a specialist review that speaks the language of cash, deals, and payment release — not a general system inventory.
How we began
Our founders spent years inside corporate treasury and financial audit roles in Bangkok, watching the same pattern: strong policies on paper, weak enforcement in the application that actually releases payments. The practice started as a focused response to that gap, working first with mid-sized groups that had grown faster than their treasury control design.
How we work with clients
We treat your treasury application as a financial control environment. Interviews include treasurers, payment clerks, and the colleagues who maintain user roles. We ask for evidence that would stand in a board discussion: sample payments, override logs, position reports tied to bank statements. Findings stay concrete — module names, role conflicts, missing approvals — so remediation owners know what to change.
Values we hold
- Specificity over volume — fewer findings with clear financial consequence beat long lists of low-impact observations.
- Independence — we do not implement or resell treasury software, so recommendations are not tied to a vendor roadmap.
- Respect for operations — fieldwork is scheduled around payment calendars and month-end peaks common to Thai corporate treasuries.
- Plain reporting — reports are written for CFOs and audit committees, with technical annexes only where configuration detail is required.
Thailand context
We are based at Level 10, 57 Rama IX Road, Huai Khwang, Bangkok 10310, and regularly support groups with multi-entity structures, baht and foreign-currency cash pools, and banking relationships across the region. Engagements can be conducted in English; Thai-language interviews can be arranged when needed for operations staff.
